Insurance Customer Services Agent

Operating just outside London, Got You Covered is an exciting new insurance broker built on over 20 year's experience in insurance and financial services, as well as a strong background in marketing. Established in early 2016, following FCA authorisation we have developed an ambitious growth plan which will see us increase to 50 staff within the next 2 years. To further support this growth, we are looking for experienced professionals with ambitions to progress and the commitment to drive the business to exceed its growth plans. Role and responsibilities This is a telephone-based customer service position, handling incoming calls relating to new business quotations for non-standard motor insurance. Managing incoming calls relating to existing clients - this may consist of midterm adjustments, renewal queries, cancellations and any other enquiries. To be responsible for the incoming post, web enquiries and email enquiries. To process new business, renewal and midterm documentation and any other duties as requested. In addition, you will need to have a strong and capable knowledge of Open GI; the money page, be able to journal and adjust payments as required as well as manage our clients premium finance and our relationship with Close Brothers Premium Finance. Essential skills and experience Experience with Open GI software (advanced level) Experience with Word and Excel (intermediate or above) Experience with motor insurance, non-standard would be advantageous Telephone experience of outbound and inbound customer service enquiries Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Team player with the ability to flex requirements to meet the needs of the business Go getter who wants a career It would be a benefit, but not essential CII qualification Full driving licence and own car What we are offering The successful candidate will work closely with clients, brokers and underwriters and will predominantly deal with all motor and commercial vehicle insurance new business, retention and administration. You will be able to work in fast paced environments, with the opportunity to earn up to £26,000. It is essential candidates have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade's A-C or equivalent and at least 2 years of job related experience in customer services / Call centre.
