You will lead the function which defines the IS strategy and architecture and engages with the wider organisation. You will build a holistic view of the including business processes, information gathered, technology used and strategy. Ensuring that the business and IT are aligns, by the integration and standardisation of IT infrastructure reflecting the requirements of the operating model. Enterprise Architect duties will include, but not limited to: Responsible for reviewing of management processes and confirming that they are complaint with the internal strategy for corporate governance of information Reviewing new business proposals and providing specialist advice on compliance issues Establishing policies and standards for compliance with relevant legislation Recognising potential strategic application of IT Using appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces to contribute to the development of systems architecture in specific businesses Producing detailed component specifications Attending vendor briefings, technology showcases and conferences Identifying risks and opportunities, collaboration options and draw in best practice As the Enterprise Architect, you will be required to possess: TOGAF certified Experience with developing and driving operations strategies for effective delivery of IT architectures and governance Previous experience with managing architecture teams within a complex technical environment Able to identify potential opportunities that will benefit the organisation and better enable delivery of the corporate strategy ITIL and Prince2 knowledge Experience/knowledge of some of the following would be beneficial: SAAS, Micro and Macro Service Oriented Architecture, TOGAF, Cloud and Virtualisation Technologies, LAN/WAN, Mobile devices, Presence and collaboration tools (including telephony) With a salary on offer of up to £82,200 (inclusive of allowances) this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the enterprise architecture within an established organisation.
