When you join the Service Desk team at Affinity Water, you’ll provide support to 1500 colleagues and stakeholders every day by logging and responding to incidents and service request tickets. You’ll manage user interactions via email, phone and face to face, dealing with issues at first level or escalating where needed. Day to day, you’ll perform user admin tasks such as creating/deleting users, organising email distribution groups and providing access to requested systems and services. You’ll ensure all information is recorded accurately when calls are triaged to colleagues within the Service Desk, and you’ll be excited to problem-solve issues with your 3rd line teammates. What do I need? You’ll understand the importance of the role you play in delivering an exceptional service to your customers. You’ll recognise that this role is highly valued in the IT Services team and have a real drive to provide an engaging, quality and timely service; putting the customer at the heart of all you do. You’ll have a sound technical background with some experience in a similar IT Service Desk role. An understanding of ITIL methodology, end user computing environments and Office 365 is key. As the service you’ll provide is essential to the business, you’ll be comfortable participating in a weekend standby rota to ensure someone’s always on call if there’s an issue.
