Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant I am currently seeking to appoint several teaching assistants for a special school in Birmingham. The school caters to primary aged children with Special Educationa Needs and Disabilities. This is a lovely opportunity for teaching assistants to join a great school that care about their staff and pupils. The school caters for children with needs such as Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD and PMLD. We are looking for empathetic teaching assistants who have experience of working with children with SEND. Personal care may be involved with this role such as feeding and toileting so applicants must consider this before applying. To be considered for this role you must: - Have at least six months worth of experience in schools - Have the relevant qualification to work within schools - Hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one - Be able to provide two references If you think you would be suitable for the position please apply below.
