Overview

LRL are recruiting for 2x Experienced Crane and Lift Inspection Engineers, to join one of the leading calibration and inspection companies in the UK. Working a day shift with flexible start times, you will be required to undertake the inspection and testing of lifting equipment in and around the Heathrow and London area. Main Duties will include: Conducting high-quality inspections on various lifting equipment, such as Passenger and Good Lifts, Overhead Cranes and Gantries, Powered Access, Lifting Accessories, Goods Lifts, Passenger Lifts, Hydraulic Lifts, Chain Block Hoists and other Lifting Accessories in accordance with the H&S regulatory and the statutory requirements under LOLER and PUWER. Maintain technical standards as required by the site in order to meet the requirements in Technical Competency Testing and Technical Audits (internal and external). Work effectively as part of a team to ensure all aspects of the inspection are achieved. Qualifications required: Minimum NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND or comparable in a lifting operations or mechanical engineering discipline. Additional Qualifications are advantageous, including LEEA Qualifications. IPAF 3a & 3b licence, Working at Height Training. Safety Harness use/inspection of. Confined Space Working Manual Handling Training etc. Hold a full, current UK Driving Licence, as you may be required to travel to other sites. Package: £35,000 - £40,000 Negotiable Competitive Salary based upon experience and qualifications. Company van. 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays. Pension Scheme. Car Parking.
