Here at Hain Daniels we currently recruiting for a Training and Compliance Officer based at the Corby site. The role holder will ensure that all training events associated with people, product and process are aligned to the overall business plan. To ensure the business shows training compliance against standards. That all identified training activity is planned, executed and evaluated. To manage and co-ordinate the training team to ensure training is carried out to the correct standard and efficiently. The role is a combination of hands-on, whilst having the ability to plan and organise activities to the year ahead and beyond, as well as the individual being capable of communicating at all levels within the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coach the on-site training team to ensure that training is delivered efficiently and effectively. Work closely with managers to ensure that business training priorities are met to agreed timelines. Create, maintain and update all training sign off sheets. Manage the training monitoring system for compliance to legislation, customer requirements, audits (both manual and computerised skills matrices to Intermediate level as a minimum). Ensure "good manufacturing practice" (GMP) is followed at all times. (Clean as you go, SOP adherence etc). Promote and encourage a Total Quality Management approach to our process and practices.Communicate changes to procedures to all relevant personnel, maintaining the Quality Management System whilst doing so. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and employee handbook procedures and practices. Support in audit procedures covering both internal and external audits and covering factory and raw materials and work alongside other departments to ensure any non-conformances raised are addressed in a timely manner. Must have a thorough understanding of both high and standard care food operating requirements. An ability to present procedures to external auditors, to higher levels of management within the company and also to coach peer level managers in the industry requirements. Monitor and maintain all agreed departmental KPI's. Responsible for organising all types of internal and external courses Raising training related purchase orders Ensure training compliance to customer codes of practice When required support training team in delivering training / presentations Will carry out other duties as may be required by the business. What you will need for the role / what it will take Can demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude An understanding of high and standard care food operating standards. An understanding of the importance of traceability to the business and where it links into the quality management system. An understanding of the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point techniques. Understanding of Food safety standards A high level of concentration and attention to detail, combined with a commitment to 'right first time'. Inherent understanding of site hygiene, technical, QA and Health & Safety requirements. Advanced computer knowledge (spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail). Excellent communicator at all levels. Able to positively influence internal and external customers, staff and senior management with confidence in own ability.
