We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and take on responsibility for developing and delivering client-side code for the IRIS Group software suite, contributing to building new features and launching new platforms. The successful candidate will join a key project developing the product roadmap that will shape the future of IRIS products, and will gain exposure to new and exciting technology. A bit about you… For this role, the successful candidate will: Lead some implementation tasks and working closely with other engineers in the team to ensure prompt completion of sprint goals Work with a Scrum Master and other stakeholders across the IRIS Group to agree on technical direction Collaborate with other team members and sharing the benefit of your knowledge. Continually learn and advise on new approaches or solutions Work closely with Operations to ensure high standards of delivery Have extensive and proven experience with JavaScript and Net Core Have experience working with APIs and web services Have experience with cloud SaaS platforms Have knowledge of GIT Display an understanding of security considerations and Micro service architectures You may also have: Amazon Web Services experience Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, or NodeJS Experience of monitoring and logging techniques A bit about us… IRIS is the UK’s market-leading provider of business-critical software and services to the UK accountancy, payroll and education sectors, with 40 years of experience within the industry.
