Overview
We are seeking a Semiconductor Yield Engineer for a technology company in Sedgefield. Are you an enthusiastic, semiconductor yield engineer who is eager to work with a team of innovators, delivering the world’s next technology? You will be responsible for ensuring continuous yield improvement and yield excursion management in a high-volume, state-of-the-art production manufacturing environment. Key tasks •Yield Improvement on emerging technologies •Maintain high yields on mature technologies whilst continuously improving baseline yield •Identification and quick resolution of potential yield and output limiters •Work with Product Management to understand product requirements Qualifications and training •SPC & CPK methodologies (a must) •Semiconductor Yield improvement & excursion management (a must) •Degree in a technical discipline (an advantage) •Higher degree in technical discipline (an advantage) Skills and experience •Demonstrable experience in yield analysis techniques and methodologies •Solid understanding of electrical parametric correlation to product yield •Knowledge of semiconductor processing and testing •Semiconductor high-volume manufacturing experience •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal •Demonstrable ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions to root cause and impact •Track record of ability to solve technical problems •Deep sense of data driven curiosity •Excellent data analysis and problemsolving skills •Basic device physics understanding / experience •Integration / Process engineering experience •Experience of emerging electronics technologies (electronics on flex/plastic, large-area electronics; “organic” electronics) •Experience of RF electronics key words: electronics engineer electronics design engineer electronic design engineer electronic engineer physicist This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89856058
