Sedgefield - Semiconductor Yield Engineer - Salary £50K to £70K - High Tech Electronics Our client is a company bursting with creative professionals who are passionate about new technology. Their unique technology platform delivers flexible integrated circuits that are thinner than a human hair and can be easily embedded into everyday objects. In your role you will be responsible for ensuring continuous yield improvement and yield excursion management in the company’s high-volume, state-of-the-art production manufacturing environment. Your challenges will be to facilitate yield Improvement on emerging technologies, maintain high yields on mature technologies whilst continuously improving baseline yields. You will be expected to identify and quickly resolve potential yield and output limiters. The ideal candidate will have a deep data driven curiosity and possess excellent data analysis skills. A distinct advantage is experience and interest in emerging electronics technologies such as electronics on flex/plastic, large-area electronics and ‘organic’ electronics. Main Duties: Ensuring continuous yield improvement of company products Maintenance of high yields on mature technologies Problem-solving of yield and output limiters Skills and Experience: Bachelors or Masters Degree in a technical discipline advantageous Experience of SPC and Cpk methodologies essential Experience of semiconductor yield improvement & excursion management essential Possess a solid understanding of electrical parametric correlation to product yield Support with relocation is available for the right candidate.
