Overview

Futureheads have recently partnered with an independent tech consultancy, who build a range of modern products for clients across both the public and private sector. As a business that has grown organically over the last decade, they now have an established team of over 80 and offer a truly agile transformation service for their clients. At this time, and despite the ongoing circumstances, they are in a position to continue pressing on with hiring and are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join. This role will be adding new skills to a major transition of a new platform. This will involve making improvements to deliver higher performance, creating well tested software that provides critical services both internally and externally and upskilling team members. To be considered for this role you will need to be able to display knowledge of the following: DevOps principles. AWS. Setting up build pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab CI or similar. Source Control – Git, SVN or similar. Ansible/Terraform. Scripting with Python, Bash, Powershell. Automation of common admin and dev tasks. Provisioning of alerting and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace etc. It would be highly beneficial if you also have any knowledge of the following: Agile experience e.g. Scrum or Kanban. Docker. Kubernetes. Linux/Unix admin and config. This opportunity is looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with remote interviewing and onboarding already in place to ensure a smooth transition.
