Role & Responsibilities ·Connect and enhance data assets from across multiple platforms. ·Model data from across the segment to create robust views of clients. ·Constantly improve the data platform to enhance analytical capabilities. ·Manage data from across divisions to produce valuable data assets. ·promote best practices and suggest enhancements ·Actively research and suggest new technologies. ·Promote DevOps & CI/CD methodologies ·Work closely with analysts, data scientists and technology partners to understand their requirements Experience & Skills Required ·Be able to mentor, coach and inspire a team of enthusiastic, aspiring data engineers. ·You will be a high performing senior engineer capable of using a progressive tech stack e.g. Databricks, Spark, Python, PySpark, Delta Lake, SQL, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, ·ADLS, Parquet, Neo4J, Flask ·Be able to take full ownership for the most challenging areas of development. ·Have expert knowledge and experience in processing data using Spark / Databricks / Azure. ·Possess knowledge in at least one of: Python (or similar), SQL, PySpark ·Be highly experienced in building end to end data pipeline/ETL/ELT solutions ·Demonstrable experience leading a team in either a technical or line manager function If you fit the above job description, please contact Teresa Cheeseman Please be advised that we can only accept candidates who have the right to work in the UK.
