MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (SHIFTS, AUTOMATED LOGISTICS - GREATER MANCHESTER AREA) £25-30 PER HOUR, HUGE GLOBAL NAME AND COMPANY, GREAT ENVIRONMENT. The Client Due to huge demand our globally renowned client is presently seeking additional Maintenance Technicians (with electrical bias or mechanical bias with good electrical skills) for several of their Manchester sites. The Role - Actively prioritise workload - Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to drive improvements in machine efficiency - Fault finding mechanical / electrical - Provide support with planned maintenance activities, utilising best practices - Supervise contractors on site and ensure that all safety and hygiene policies are followed - Assist with site projects when required, including new equipment installations, machine modifications - Provide solutions to failure situations - Provide comprehensive information about failures and actions taken - Optimise line performance by maximising equipment availability in your area - Deliver excellent housekeeping standards within your area Skills & Experience Required - Served an engineering apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent - Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines - Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems - Experience fault finding within Automation systems - Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings - Basic workshop skills - Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters - Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations - Experience of contractor management - Ability to work shifts in a 24/7 environment Is This You?
