Trials & Integration Engineer
Overview
World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is currently looking to recruit 2x Trials and Integration Engineer subcontractor on an initial 6 month contract. This role would suit a candidate who comes from a Trials and Integration Engineer or Systems Engineer background within the Defence or Aerospace industry. Hourly Rate: The department are offering excellent hourly rates Contract Duration: 6 Months initially and then ongoing thereafter Security Information: Please Note you must be eligible for SC Security Clearance (unfortunately due to security restrictions for this role, the candidate will need to be a British National with no dual nationality and must have resided in the UK for at least 4 of the past 5 years). Trials and Integration Engineer Job Description: Engineer Requirement within the System Integration & Proving team, working on all aspects of integration, as Requirement. Candidates with a Systems Engineer, Trials, Electronic Integration background could be suitable This includes assessment of detailed message exchange between interfaces, assessment of system threads through the system, regression testing and investigation of problem and query reports. This requires: a detailed understanding of system functionality, generation, conduct and reporting of trial requirements to demonstrate functionality, analysis of data to determine compliance and identify anomalies with the functionality. In addition, support to the generation of customer deliverable system integration report will be Requirement. Support may be Requirement to conduct trials at off site trials facilities. Practical experience within the laboratory environment. Use of oscilloscopes / bus analysers etc. Must be willing to travel within UK as necessary. Desired Experience: Experience of integrating complex electronic systems Candidates could come from a Systems Engineer background Experience of working within a trials environment Experience of writing trials documentation Ability to understand technical interface documentation analytical approach to data analysis Previous background of working on complex weapon systems within a trials and integration or systems engineering field (either land, sea or air) Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
