Overview

Application Developer Support / DevOps Cloudstream is currently working with a Leading Technology Consultancy that requires an Application Developer Support to work within a highly skilled equity trading team on site a Global Bank. You will be the first point of contact for any trading platforms production issues, as well as responsible for the ongoing platform maintenance and ultimate data retention and decommission of the platforms at end of life. Location: London Type: Permanent Salary: £55,000-75,000/year - depending on experience Responsibilities: Acting as first point of contact your will support in scope Global Equity Trading applications, incident, Problem & Change Management, Continual Service Management, Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing You will be responsible for the implementation of roadmap, risk & control and regulatory functionality, including development, testing and deployment. Application decommission task, including business data transfer to archive systems. Required Qualifications: Experience of managing and maintaining apps running on Unix based platforms and Oracle / Sybase databases. Strong Unix skills including scripting and server management. Java, C & C++ code maintenance, along with SQL & stored procs Experience using Dev Ops tools and automation of backend server tasks. Managing, deploying and supporting releases Strong analytical and technical background with good problem solving skills. Good understanding of SDLC & Agile.
