THE COMPANY - An expanding team of Engineers looking to grow their Nottingham office - They work on a wide range of sectors including healthcare, residential and commercial projects - Working alongside some amazing blue-chip clients - Design services for projects up to £10m in value - With 71 offices spanning the Americas, Europe, MENA and Asia Pacific my client is an Internationally renowned Multi-Disciplinary KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - The Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer will be liaising with the engineering teams to ensure projects meet expectations within the set deadlines - Providing training and managing younger members of the team - Running a portfolio of projects - The Mechanical Design Engineer will be assisting with design development and calculations on high value projects - Accurately creating technical drawings in accordance with client briefs using programmes such as IES and hevacomp - Responsible for undertaking mechanical services design including heating, ventilation and air conditioning services SKILLS AND BACKGROUND - 3 years’ experience building services (MEP) background either within a consultancy or contractor - Capable of using suitable design software and AutoCAD/Revit - Must be proficient in the use of IES - Degree qualified or equivalent in mechanical engineering or building services - Knowledge of UK Standards and Specifications - Experience of working on major projects would be advantageous If you are a Mechanical Design Engineer within the Building Services industry and are interested in securing a long-term role with a very well established Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy in Central Nottingham or local to Nottingham, then please contact Charley Burgess at Aylin White on 0203 056 1950 or 07736 275 647.
