They have over 20 staff and are actively recruiting for several roles because of increased client work and a recent internal promotion. Set in a convenient location near the High Street filled with shops and restaurants, they are a SME that prides themselves on offering a full range of services to their portfolio of clients across varied industries. They are looking for the right person to join their team because of growth. The Accounts and Audit team is a blended team comprising 12 staff and you will come on board as one of their Senior members to be part of a thriving practice. The role is a full time, permanent position. They are looking for a friendly, professional person with exposure to the following: Preparing Year End Statutory Accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, many Limited companies and Owner-Managed Business’ with sectors ranging from property, charities and media companies Some client advisory on subjects such as company formation and business strategy Company secretarial duties, confirmation statements Some corporation tax calculations and returns; preparing returns and reviewing simple returns prepared by junior staff members Managing junior staff members, reviewing the accounts they have prepared, advising on improving workflows Calculation and submission of monthly auto enrolment pension contributions Some Management Accounts Training will be provided for the right candidate on duties including control of supplier payments, HMRC and other statutory obligations, reclaiming CIS About you: ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist Great communication skills (both verbal and written) If desired, the company will be willing to give you a mixed Accounts and Audit role Competitive benefits package Because our client has a portfolio of clients who expect the best level of service, they need to attract the best people for their Senior Accountant vacancy.
