Sales Account Manager – Mail/Courier/Distribution – National Role with Base in Slough area – (once or twice a week) Salary £30K Base - OTE £40K -Company Car Our Client is a niche market Mail/Courier operator within the UK, offering fully tracked time critical Mail/courier solutions to the Government, Financial and Legal institutions, working with many global, multi-national and blue-chip companies. They are looking for a bright ambitious Sales Account Manager to join the team, you must be an excellent communicator and have some experience either in Account Management, Customer Service or Sales – full training will be given. You will need a full clean driving licence as this is a National role – so you will need to travel all over the UK – with a base in Slough where you will need to go at least once a week The role You will be visiting existing clients and making sure they are using all the services that are available – so upselling and cross selling within the existing Customer base. Generating New Business from within the existing contracts Planning your week and appointments Responding to Leads passed to you from the inhouse team The Person You will be a graduate level individual Excellent relationship building / identifying opportunities and closing ability Ability to prioritise, organise & manage time efficiently essential. A self starter. Able to work successfully on own initiative, but also as part of the team. Able to negotiate at all levels and a superb communicator, networker and closer of all type and levels of business. Ability to maintain internal & external professional relationships.
