Overview
My client are a global law firm who are looking for a talented legal technologist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the digital transformation within the firm. They are looking to maximise the impact of technology on data capture and process improvement. We are looking for an experienced legal technologist with knowledge and skills in process improvement, data capture & analysis and matter management. Experience of Sharedo or a similar system would be ideal. You will be working closely with lawyers, support staff, clients and client relationship partners. Key responsibilities: Helping to design a new data model for a particular practice group – consulting with all teams and locations within the group to map out processes, transaction types, activities and tasks for all types of work Minimising the amount of bespoke development required in the system, leaning towards greater configuration and less software development Designing and configuring the system to meet specific large/key client requirements Skills and experience: Process mapping skills Lean Six Sigma or Design Thinking skills Data modelling and analysis Ideally experienced in using, administering and configuring Sharedo by Sliced Bread Experience in a large law firm or large in-house legal team preferred Key competencies: Understanding of law firm processes and lawyer-client relationships Excellent communication skills, operating at a senior level Good business analysis skills; the ability to produce process maps engaging, concise and timely management info Excellent numeracy and literacy are essential My client is a well-established firm that offers an excellent working environment, routes for progression, and a benefits package too This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89612962
