Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Applications Engineer to join a prestigious well-established business who provide technical engineering solutions for many industries throughout the globe. Well known for continuously delivering technical solutions for over 50 years, providing custom-made and innovative solutions from their own R&D department. As a Mechanical Applications Engineer. You will be responsible for: · Learning the wide series of products that they have to offer at an expert level where you will be able to serve as a consultant for their customers · Undertaking technical sales projects and overseeing them through the whole process. · Consulting on design development, reports, proposals and specific drawings for the projects. · Giving support when executing a project by distributing enquiry data to the production departments providing installation guidance and inspection services for the client. The company will be interested in interviewing candidates at a graduate level, that are enthusiastic, quick learners and enjoy dealing with people’s enquires and will also take the initiative to keep growing on a personal and professional level. Must have: · Minimum a BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering · Willing and able to travel worldwide with short notice · Excellent communicator Other requirements: · Background in a client-facing technical role. · Project planning/management in an engineering or industrial environment. · Understand Elastomers and their material properties. · Able to prove basic comprehension of how to interpret construction and engineering drawings.
