Customer Service Analyst / Graduate (Supply Chain / FMCG) x2 Location: Blackpool, Lancashire Salary: £Competitive Salary Contract: Full Time, Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday (rota basis covering ½ a day on a Saturday - on average once every six weeks, for Saturday cover you are able to work from home) Who Are We? So let’s start with ….… Why work as part of our Supply Chain Customer Services team? You will be part of a team that forms a key link between our manufactured goods and the end customer, you’ll help ensure Burton’s Biscuits provide a great experience for our customers as well as working with key internal teams to ensure accurate data and updates about availability & supply of stock. What does your typical day look like? On a day to day basis you will provide support services to short term demand forecasting, warehousing and distribution functions which are supported centrally within the Customer Service Team. By utilising creativity, resourcefulness and ingenuity to understand and enhance supply chain processes by generating key reports, extracting and assembling data, identifying problems, testing hypothesis, calculating KPIs, creating detailed analysis, building business cases and developing tools to turn data into insights for both business and specific customer account use. By doing this you will help to shape and drive forward a positive supply chain service helping Burton’s Biscuits achieve its own targets and also helping ensure we meet the needs of our customers. What are the key ingredients needed for the role? This is a great role for someone with some previous customer service experience within a supply chain / logistics related role. It will equally be a great first role for a recent graduate looking to start out a career within a Supply Chain environment You will need a have an interest in using data to make recommendations and improvements. Final part of the mix. You will need to have strong communication and be confident in using Excel i.e. (Pivot Tables etc.), strong numeracy and attention to detail is key. Any understanding or previous experience of SAP is highly desirable but not essential.
