Senior Business Development Manager - Wireless - Cambridge A growing Wireless Technology Services company, based in Cambridge, as currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow their client base across the EU. You will be working with clients on a highly complex technical projects. They need you to have a good understanding of how wireless technologies are invented, throughout the whole basis. People that succeed in this type of role normally started out designing technologies before moving into a successful Business Development career. The key skill needed here is selling time and services, rather than a fixed product. This is why the technical knowledge is so important, as you will need to know what you are promising, in meetings, is physically possible. This company provide assistance to a wide range of fields within the wireless sector, including telecoms, mobile, defence, satellite, aerospace, radio, microwave and other highly complex organisations. What makes this role a Senior Business Development Manager is the fact you will have a lot of control on your approach. You will need to identify target organisations, see gaps in the marker and analyse new technology development to be ahead of the technology curve. It is the type of skills you will already be implementing in your current role. Apart from working with the clients directly, you will also be project managing the development teams to assure the delivery of successful projects.
