Procurement Managers (Plastics/Metalwork/Instruments) Cambridge £50-£70k (dep on exp excellent benefits package) One of the UK`s most exciting medical technology development companies is looking for three additional Procurement Managers, with an engineering background, to join their expanding procurement team. As a Procurement Manager / Purchasing Manager you each will be responsible for leading a small team and technically managing your vendors to deliver components, assemblies and consumables for next generation medical devices. You will be joining a truly exceptional company at the forefront of the UK technology industry. The ideal Procurement / Purchasing Managers for these fantastic opportunities will have a strong background in technical procurement within Plastics/Metalwork and/or Instruments. The successful candidates will come from a technical or engineering background before moving into Purchasing / Buying / Procurement as each Procurement Manager will have their own small team of Engineering Buyers to lead. Individual roles are as follows: Systems Plastics - Procurement Manager with extensive background in procuring plastic injection moulded parts - Large (low volume) and small (high volume) for safety critical products/systems for highly regulated industries - Medical, Aerospace or Automotive industry. Systems Metalwork - Procurement Manager with an extensive background in procuring high precision-made metalwork for high compliance arenas; custom CNC, milled and turned products within the UK and overseas. Instruments - Procurement Manager with End to End sourcing experience of scientific or similar instruments & high-grade medical devices. Experience of managing outsourced manufacturers; specifically, for complex precision mechanical assemblies. Ideally, the Procurement Managers will have the following skills/experience: Technical Engineering background Extensive experience leading small teams of Engineering or Technical Buyers Experience working in high compliance arenas -eg Medical, Aerospace or Automotive Preferably with ISO 13485 Interested or know someone who would be?
