Overview

Insurance Administration Assistant - Strong reporting - Insurance City of London £25k - £28k You will be working for a leading London Market Insurance firm based in stunning offices in the City of London. They require an assistant who has strong excel as well as administration to ensure that the Division have the data necessary to allow for timely and accurate reporting and data analysis. Along with reporting you will support the team with any administration assistance needed to ensure the team run smoothly. You do not need to have experience within insurance. You will want to work in a fun team and want to run reports and data analysis when required. Strong/good knowledge of excel is needed. The role includes responsibility for: Ensuring data is captured for the risk recording system Checking that risk data is entered in a precise and timely manner into the underwriting system. Running reports and policy enquiries. Maintaining the underwriting and office filing system Bordereaux analysis (monthly basis) Assist with quarterly financial reporting Ad hoc tasks as required. To be aware of and comply with the relevant rules and regulations in relation to: money laundering sanctions financial crime and conduct bribery and corruption Ideally you will be expected to hold or sit the CII Award in London Market Insurance (LM1 and LM2) within the first 12 months of commencing the role - you will be supported by your new role. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. General office administration experience (in a related business if possible). Knowledge of the insurance market is advantageous but not essential. Additional Information Must be a team player, providing support to other members of staff and taking ownership of customer issues when required.
