Your new company A reputable and well established independent firm based in Preston are looking to appoint an Accounts Supervisor (ACA / ACCA qualified) to join their accounts team and support the associate partner with the management of their portfolio. This is a great job opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to develop their supervisory skills. Your new role As an Accounts Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing a small portfolio of OMBs, SMEs, sole traders and partnerships so which you will be responsible for delivering a range of compliance services to. Day to day responsibilities will include the preparation & review of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and management accounts. You will be the key contact for your clients and take responsibility for holding year end meetings, managing budgets of assignments and billing. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has gained either some man management or portfolio management responsibilities. As you will manage a portfolio the firm are keen to appoint someone with strong communication and organisational skills. The firm are keen to promote internally and with their internal succession plans there is the opportunity to progress to manager in the medium term as your portfolio grows.
