Overview

Infrastructure Engineer - Design & Implementation A Senior Systems Engineer required to join a rapidly expanding software house in Altrincham who have recently grown their business internationally. The Senior Engineer will work alongside the CTO to redesign and implement their whole IT Infrastructure as they introduce a range of new & cutting-edge tech. You will be reponisble for designing new technology, coupled with some 2nd and 3rd Line Support, but as a Senior Engineer of a small to medium sized business you will have a real say and voice on the direction of the company going forward. As part of your position you will be expected to consult senior stakeholders on new emerging technologies to invest in, so you should be well adept to researching and keeping up to date with the latest tech trends. This is a great time to join the team who are highly regarded in their market, with the introduction of a new IT Roadmap and plans to continue growing in the coming years. This would suit an IT professional with broad experience designing and implementing large scale IT infrastructure. Key Skills/ Experience: Office 365 administration Physical servers Analyse and troubleshoot performance of SAN-backed VMware 5.5 infrastructure. VMware vSphere, Citrix XenApp 6.5 Design, implementation and management of multiple Active Directory forests. Agile working methodology Provide 3rd line technical support, working to tight SLA's within an ITIL framework Cloud Technology - Azure, AWS What's in it for you?
