Overview
Grounds Maintenance Operatives with Disclosures required for work across Inverness area. 6 month contract Your new company You will be working for a grounds maintenance contractor who maintain the grounds and outside spaces for a number of high profile clients across the Inverness area. You will work for this organisation as a temporary worker via Hays, work approx a 39 hour week across Monday to Friday. Your new role In your new role as a grounds maintenance operative you will undertake duties such as grass cutting using commercial machines and ride on mowers where appropriate, strimmer work, hedge trimming, weed spraying and general tidying out outside spaces. You will work in a small team across the Highlands. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you must have previous experience in grounds maintenance work and be committed to a long term contract. In addition, due to working in public spaces you must hold a current Disclosure Scotland (or be able to apply for one). This role involves working in all weathers and working safely to produce a high standard of work. A valid driving license would be preferred but would not be essential for this post. What you'll get in return This is a great opportunity to secure long term work over the grounds maintenance season. You will be paid a good rate of pay dependent on your experience, have an allowance for holiday pay and receive a weekly pay from Hays. This role can also offer you good working conditions, some extra hours when required and the possibility of extended work into the Winter season.
