Join us as a Cash & Banking Administrator within our newly formed Shared Services Finance team and play your part in building a healthier nation. Our Support Centre in Epsom, Surrey is the hub of our national operation, supplying services in Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal, Marketing and HR to make Nuffield Health the best organisation it can be - for our patients, our members and our people. The opportunity Your role will be to maintain the cash books for our business areas. You will be experience in cash & banking or perhaps studying in finance looking for a first step in your career. Your duties will be; Completion of the bank reconciliations within the set deadlines Posting of transactions and investigation of any payments made without remittances. Ensuring that cheques received at Central Office are posted accordingly. Recording of payments taken by the sites, posting adjustments when necessary. Working from excel reports and paper remittances, posting payments individually to client accounts. Ensuring that payments are posted accurately and within the set deadlines. Reformatting of electronic remittances using excel. Opening and distributing post as per weekly rota. Downloading the bank statement on a daily basis. Ensuring that any payment queries from sites, other departments and insurance providers are dealt with promptly. What we'd be looking for from you To succeed as a Cash & Banking Administrator, you will need to demonstrate: Good understanding of accounting principles surrounding cash management Reconciliation experience in a finance role, such as an accounts assistant or similar Good communicator Proactive in identifying issues and addressing them or communicating them Thorough and good attention to detail Good organisational and time management skills Computer literate with standard Windows software Intermediate Excel skills Computer literate with Financial systems The benefits In return, we offer a great working environment that will help you grow your skills and experience and get the best out of life.
