Overview

Senior Technical Project Manager - Software Applications - SAFe Agile / SCRUM Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading multinational organisation in Central London to recruit a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their Software Applications team. Your role will be to lead the successful delivery of a range of software products including new CRM, data management and search products for use internally across their business and websites and mobile apps used by their customers. You will matrix manage resources from multidisciplinary software teams made up of Developers, Testers and Business Analysts and own and manage the relationships with 3rd party software vendors. They work with Agile SCRUM processes and ceremonies and this role will be key to bring together the Scrum teams and working with Scrum Masters to ensure Agile ceremonies are effective. You will facilitate the Programme Increment planning, resource planning and allocation, anticipating and mitigating project risks and understanding any potential issues and dependencies on project timelines and ensure impediments are quickly identified and resolved. To be successful you will require at least 5-10 years’ experience of leading Technical Application delivery projects and programmes with demonstrable team leadership and people management skills. You will require excellent knowledge of Agile and Scrum (preferably in a multi-team environment) and experience of working with in-house and 3rd party software providers, as part of Scrum teams. It would be beneficial if you hold an Agile at Scale qualification (SAFE, LeSS etc), are a certified Scrum Master and hold a Senior Project Manager qualification (such as: APM PMQ, APM PPQ, (MSP), IPMA or PMI-PMP. Finally and understanding of software languages, tools and concepts would be high beneficial (but no hands-on coding skills required) such as: SQL, .net, Angular JS, Elasticsearch, Octopus, Team City, Selenium, Azure, Swift, iOS and Android.
