Overview
Highly acquisitive city-based client with an impressive pipeline of acquisitions have a vacancy for a qualified accountant with experience of mergers & acquisitions, deal advisory or transaction services. This major UK market leader invested heavily in cutting edge digital technology. The primary focus of this exciting job opportunity is to perform due diligence, financial modelling and investment appraisal to support business acquisitions and investments. This is a key appointment that will provide a high level of support to senior business leaders, including the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer. Key duties include: Buy side mergers and acquisitions activities such as financial modelling and due diligence. Develop and implement and investment appraisal process, including reporting to the Executive Committee. Support the Executive Committee and Senior Leaders in making commercial decisions by preparing financial insights and thorough analysis of potential acquisitions. Act as a key contact to external advisors during M & A activity. Support commercial decision making through the preparation of financial insight and analysis. Prepare strategic presentations. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, be a clear thinker with the ability to present simple analysis from complex data and possess strong communication and influencing skills.
