Python Developer – Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, TDD, Unit Testing Python Developers required by product search engine start-up in Shoreditch who have been making big noises in the market over the past 18 months. The company has had lots of positive media coverage due to their super product and due to growth, they are seeking Python Developers who are positive, forward thinking people to build an experience that can make a real difference to people’s lives. Technology Stack: Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres Database Administration, TDD, Unit Testing bonus points for processing libraries such as Numpy, Scipy and Pandas. Responsibility: Build and design our next-generation processing systems Maintain, deploy and troubleshoot our entire infrastructure stack Write backend python code which is reusable, testable and efficient Requirements: Passion for data, performance optimisation and infrastructure design Understand how to process a dataset in parallel, either using multiple threads or processes, or for bigger datasets at least understand how Spark/MR/MPPs work Attention to detail and taking pride in your work What’s on offer?
