Senior Tax Account - Competitive Salary Benefits - Haslemere, Surrey The Role A Surrey-based multiple award-winning accountancy practice is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant. The successful candidate will build strong relationships and offer high-quality tax advice across all accounting functions. Working alongside the Tax Manager, the successful candidate will develop excellent client relationships, train staff, support tax investigations, revise contracts and prepare accounts The key responsibilities of a Senior Tax Accountant include, but are not limited to: Supporting clients with duties including: accounting software online portal training, dealing with queries and onboarding. Tax advisory and support, including tax planning technical work and research, and identifying loss-making clients. Preparing accounts, self-assessment tax returns, finalisation and filing CT returns. The Person The key skills and qualities of an Senior Tax Accountant: Four year’s post-qualification accounting experience, with two years of experience in a tax role. Chartered accounting qualifications such as: AAT, CTA (or studying towards a CTA). Excellent knowledge of individual and company taxation and tax planning. Excellent written and spoken English; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
