Overview
C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (High Performance Computing HPC Multi-threading). Would you like to work on complex and interesting backend systems for Academy Award winning visual effects within a creative, technology driven environment in the heart of Central London? As a C++ Developer you will design and develop a high performance computing engine for image processing files; you'll take ownership of projects and provide technical guidance / mentoring to more junior team members, setting standards and helping to ensure scalability, quality and extensibility are at the centre of the code. You will be based in a vibrant area in the heart of Central London within an informal, collaborative software house environment with casual dress code and bright, funky offices. Requirements: Advanced C++ development skills including multi-threading Experience of working on High Performance Computing systems Strong understanding of computer architecture (CPU, GPU, caches, memory, etc.) Good profiling and optimisation skills Agile team experience Nice to haves: GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL or Vulkan), cross platform development (Linux, MacOS, Windows), CMake As a C++ Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £60k) plus benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance, health plan, medical insurance, season ticket loan, regular training and perks such as social events and beer o'clock Fridays.
