APRIL STARTS Your new company As we are in an unfortunate situation currently, it's understandable that you may be out of work temporarily or even made redundant. Here at Hays, we want to help. Depending on how the situation unfolds, Hays are still looking for workers for when businesses start to get back to normal. Nurseries and schools are still open to key worker children and although not now, when doors are back open, the need for temporary or permanent staff will resume and this is where you come in. Working on supply, you will benefit from working on either a full or part time basis. You will have the potential opportunity to work across a variety of settings across Coventry that still have a number of key worker children within the nursery. Your new role You will be required to to work across all age groups as key worker children could range from the ages of birth-five years. Ideally you will be flexible between the hours of 8am-6pm, although some nurseries are currently operating until 4.30pm. You will be required to work across either a variety of settings or just one nursery, ideally you will have access to your own transport. Over the coming months when work does increase again, key roles and responsibilities would include supporting on a 1:1 basis or working with a group of children, messy play, indoor and outdoor activities, reading and learning through play What you'll need to succeed You must have experience working within an early years or primary school setting. You must have a good knowledge of the EYFS and will be confident in completing learning journals, observations, planning and report writing. Ideally you will have a level 2 or level 3 qualification. You must have a genuine passion for working with children, a bubbly and lively personality, communication skills and a passion to help children grow.
