Contract Mechanical Design Engineer £40 – £45 an hour Newcastle My client is looking for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to work remotely for 3 months. My Mechanical Design Engineer will work remotely to assist a team of Engineers and Scientists to develop medical devices. The Mechanical Design Engineer must be able to work from home. It is essential for the Mechanical Design Engineer to have a Solidworks license and laptop. Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer M(Eng.) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar Achieved, or working towards Chartered Mechanical Engineer status Minimum 5 year’s experience in life sciences / pharmaceutical / medical industries Proficient with Solidworks Experience of calculations software, e.g. Mathcad Knowledge of techniques for design for manufacture, assembly and maintenance Experience with flow and thermal simulation Experience with microfluidics Ability to work to from home They are looking for immediate starters so please if you feel you have the skill set required for the position please contact myself Adele Lewis via email at or by calling the Manchester office on .
