Overview

Job Title: Support Desk Manager Location: Glasgow Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 As a Support Desk Manager Role you will be responsible for managing and leading a team to ensure the company is delivering excellent customer service across their support desk. I am looking for a confident and engaging person with really good communication skills who can inspire a team and role their sleeves up and deliver as required. You will have responsibility for the team performance with a remit to support, develop and empower what is an established team who are fairly self-sufficient and strong in performance. Responsibilities: Support the team to meet the company's SLA Identify and provide training to ensure team are able to effectively perform and provide excellent customer service Hold team meetings and engage employees with following best practice, sharing company strategies and policies Delegate responsibilities if and when needed Ensure all customer complaints have been dealt with and to the highest conclusion You will demonstrable experience to a high level in the following key areas: Provide performance management and development of the team Deliver a customer focused approach while acting as an escalation point for the IT Support Desk PC Literate including the Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal skills Applicants must have the existing rights to live and work in the UK as sponsorship support is sadly not an option.
