Lochead Sandford Recruitment's client, a most forward thinking CA Firm, based in outskirts of Glasgow with free onsite parking and an excellent reputation and impressive recent growth and expansion seeks to recruit an ambitious fully qualified- though possibly qualified by experience may be considered- CA/ACCA with broad accounting/ business services experience and stable track record gained from another UK Accountancy Practice Firm, to join their team as an Accounts/Business Services Supervisor or Client Portfolio Manager. You will take full r e sponsibility for managing all aspects in your client portfolio preparing and reviewing year end accounts - financial and management, all aspects of general practice work, cash flows/business plans, ad hoc business advisory and special project work. This role demands strong client liaison, team work and coaching /mentoring of more junior members of staff. You will also ensure budgets and deadlines are met, feeing to clients for a most varied quality client portfolio and use of various IT accounts systems including cloud packages like Sage1 and Xero. This role does not involve responsibility for staff appraisals or direct management as such, albeit this may develop, however an overview mentoring, motivating and more managing your own portfolio and the full client process is required. As Accounts/Business Services Supervisor/Client Manager you will have good ongoing Partner and Senior Management support with the hope that this individual will be keen and able to quickly further develop and grow potentially to eventual Partner or Associate/Senior management- if desired, given the Firm's ongoing ambitious plans.
