Overview
Our client is a reputable and well-established asbestos consultancy that deliver a wide range of asbestos management services to clients throughout the UK. An opportunity has arisen for an organised and motivated Asbestos Administrator based in or around the Chelmsford area to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally have extensive knowledge of the asbestos analytical industry and will be confident carrying out asbestos admin duties such as booking in samples, arranging air tests and scheduling asbestos site staff. Applications from Southend-on-Sea, Braintree, Romford, Harlow, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & experience: Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous experience working within the asbestos analytical industry. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Previous administration experience within the asbestos industry beneficial. Experience of TEAMS software. Experience of office management would be advantageous. Accurate data entry skills. Key Duties: Booking in samples to the lab. Scheduling of asbestos analysts. Arranging air tests. Liaise with clients/customers. Management and training of office staff. Type up, check and analyse asbestos reports. Sending certificates to clients. Carry out all administrative tasks, booking appointments, filing time sheets etc. Dealing with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff.
