Overview
Our client is a national commercial loss adjusting practice that is looking to strengthen is technical team through the appointment of an accountant, that will work in a supportive role alongside the national commercial adjusting team, principally handling losses below £100,000. You will act as a technical guide and support to the adjusters in respect of any of the more complex or difficult issues that they encounter in respect of either business interruption or stock loss. Candidates must essentially be ACA or ACCA qualified and a background in insurance claims either within forensic accounting or with a loss adjusting practice would be preferable. Given that the role is national you can live anywhere within the UK, but preference will go to candidates either in the Midlands or South. The role will require you to travel but, as a technical referral point, the majority of work will come to you. The key thing is to have the right approach and attitude and desire to pursue your career in a related but different direction. Basic salary budget up to £60,000 but could be higher and the benefits package includes an excellent bonus, car/allowance, pension and 25 days holiday.
