Electronic Design & Development Engineer Benefits: Flexi-working, Good pension, life assurance, 25 day holidays rising ( 8 days bank hols), BONUS & a range of flexible benefits ongoing training /development An opportunity has arisen for an electronic Design & Development Engineer who enjoys a diverse role supporting the complete new product life-cycle from concept through to commercialisation working within a motivated, team based design and development environment. Operating as part of a group the company sharing industry best practice, the company not only design and develop but also have manufacture in house. As such as their development / Electronic R&D Engineer you will support the development of their next generation products, always seeking ways to increase the scope of product application, reducing cost and improve market share through innovation. You will work on a number of concurrent projects spanning both conceptual design of next generation products as well as assisting with special and bespoke customer orders. You will have total control of the electronic elements of these projects which will span complete management of products throughout the development life-cycle from initial conceptual design, schematic capture and PCB layout, test/ verification and certification through to introduction into manufacture. To succeed in this role you will ideally be Degree qualified or have relevant experience in an electrical, electronic, mechatronic, control or related field / discipline. You will also have a good understanding of analogue & digital circuit design, PCB design and schematic capture coupled with hands on skills such as development testing and prototype builds.
