Drupal Contract – OUTSIDE IR35 – up to £425pd – London, Hammersmith – 3 months Summary of Role: Working within Digital, the D8 contractor would play a very crucial part in the migration of their content from D7 to D8, consult and assist with their front-end and back-end builds, and potentially assist with the migration of a custom module from D7 to D8. The role will suit a Junior to Intermediate Front-End Developer or Drupal Themer. The right candidate should be able to demonstrate past, complex drupal 7 to drupal 8 migrations, great understanding of domain access & multilingual installations, and good understanding of theming with SASS & paragraphs. Key Responsibilities: ? Assist small in-house team with D8 best practices ? Migrate & consolidate content types from D7 sites to fresh D8 builds ? Help migrate paragraphs from D7 to D8 ? Modify a D7 module and port it to D8 ? Support the in-house team with the D8 theming Skills: ? 5 years of D7/D8 experience ? Must have led at least one D7-D8 migration project ? Demonstrable understanding of D7, especially domain access, paragraphs, multisite ? Excellent migration skills (using modules, scripts, feeds etc) ? LAMP stack ? Excellent ability to communicate and work with a team of diverse skill-levels ? Templating (PHP, JS frameworks, twig ? Test-driven development ? Ability to theme without the use of bootstrap ?
