Science Teacher / Science NQT | Outstanding Secondary School | Barnet An ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School in the North London Borough of Barnet is looking for a Science Teacher / Science NQT (with Physics, Chemistry or Biology Specialism) to start in September 2020. Having a combination of two sciences would be beneficial, however due to extended budgets within Science, Science Teachers of a single science are equally welcomed to apply. The Headteacher is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Science Teacher / Science NQT who has the aim of raising attainment. The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ for quality of teaching, so you must be graded ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in recent lesson observations. You must also hold UK QTS and be able to work well within a team of Science Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The school is large with very modern facilities. The Science Department is well established with modern teaching. There is a focus on teaching culture as well as linguistic ability. Science Teachers are encouraged to have been in the field and immersed themselves in the culture, likewise, trips to laboratories with students are a regular occurrence in the department.
