Overview
A strong Payroll Clerk is needed to join this expanding Manufacturing and Production business with operations nationwide. Sitting within the Huntingdon team the Payroll Clerk will have responsibility for the calculations of a variable payroll and processing of manual calculations including SSP, P60 and P11Ds. Client Details A well known name in the Manufacturing and Production sector who have a multitude of projects nationwide. Undergoing positive process changes in the business, the Payroll Clerk will have an impact on the ongoing success of the business, working alongside an equally driven team in Huntingdon. Description The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for: The accurate and timely processing of variable payroll slips Accurately performing manual changes including; SSP, SMP and HMRC Supporting with the ongoing process and system changes within the business Analysis of payroll data with Excel, producing reports to the senior team Preparing annual documentation including P11D and P60s Processing of all starters and leavers to the business Investigating and processing of all payroll queries Responsible for payroll reconciliations Providing support to the HR team with timely reports and systems development Profile The successful candidate for the Payroll Clerk will be: Proven in a previous Payroll position; ideally with two years experience Confident user of Excel, able to analyse data and produce detailed reports Strong systems knowledge, ideally within Sage 50 or COINs Confident in liaising with both senior stakeholders and more junior employees Knowledge of UK legal regulations and taxes would be advantageous An energetic and ambitious candidate Previous experience within a Manufacturing and Production would be advantageous Job Offer The successful candidate for the role will be joining a fast paced but highly rewarding working environment in Huntingdon with the opportunity to earn a competitive salary and have an impact on the success of the business.
