Job Specification For: Customer Service Associate Ref: VR/18774 Role Title: Customer Services Associate Department: Customer Services Reports To: Customer Services Team Leader Our well established and thriving client are looking to add to their team, in this role you will effectively manage all administration activities in line with the company policies and procedures. You will be required to deliver excellent levels of customer service ensuring the company interests and reputation are protected at all times Job Description: - Effectively manage inbound and outbound post - Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing calls - Ensure all communications are in line with company policies, standards and procedures - Administer correspondence from clients and take the relevant action within agreed time-scales. Update the internal system with details of each action and conversation - Ensure compliance with company procedures, governing bodies regulations and data protection - To Treat Customers Fairly at all times - Achieving individual/team targets - Adhering to company strategies policies, standards and procedures - Ensure that all mandatory training is completed - Proactively manage own personal development Desirable Skills/Qualifications: - Confident Telephone manner with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels - Proven customer service administration experience ideally with a Financial Services - Good Mathematical skills to a minimum GCSE level - Flexible intuitive approach both to Customer Service and working with the team - Able to work to in a pressurised environment - Excellent time management skills and to be able to manage and make effective decisions as and when required - Display and prove behaviours consistent with regulation and compliance with the principles of Treating Customer Fairly - An understanding of FCA regulations - Be able to successfully pass a reference and credit check - PC literate Please note: As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
