QC Construction Manager
Overview
This is a great opportunity to join a company with a good order book. They have several requirements for Construction QC Managers to join projects throughout the EMEA. Some projects are live in Ireland, Algeria, Qatar and Netherlands, with some coming on in the next couple of months in Russia, Egypt and Uzbekistan. The successful applicant's will be responsible for supervision of the projects required quality standard and the contractor's implementation of their quality system to be used for the project and includes but not limited for the following responsibilities: Implement and Manage the Site Construction Quality System including monitoring conformance to all relevant inspection and test plans. Producing the companies construction quality plan in line with the company, client and relevant country/regional practices and procedures. Responsibility, authority, and organisational freedom to audit, inspect and witness site activities and to verify compliance to contract quality requirements. This responsibility includes actions such as assisting the construction supervision staff in prevention of quality problems, identifying quality-related problems, should they occur, initiating or recommending solutions, and verifying corrective action. Responsible for interaction between engineering team and regulatory bodies (PED) representatives (NOBO). Coordinating quality-related activities within the site staff and with the site company representatives. Maintaining the site quality control practices. Coordinating with the Corporate QA Manager, planned independent audits conducted by the corporate QA Engineer. Independent planned audits will be undertaken as per the approved published audit schedule by the company QA and facilitated by the Construction QC Manager Key Performance Targets:- Contractor quality performance meets the company and client expectations Completion of the project in accordance with designated specifications and standards.
