Academics are seeking to recruit a strong pool of SEN Supply Teaching Assistant Doncasters based and classroom support candidates to work within Doncaster and the local South Yorkshire region on whole classroom basis and on 1-2-1 and with small groups. Academics Ltd is working with a number of Schools on a variety of placement opportunities, including SEN Schools and Pupil referral units. The Schools we support can cater for pupils with a variety of SEND requirement's Including EBD, ASD, Asperser's, ADHD, PMLD, MLD and Physical Disabilities. Our ideal applicant will have the determination required to break down the barriers to learning that students can encounter whilst still nurturing and promoting independence where applicable and in line with individual education healthcare plans. Supporting the class teacher with a variety of tasks can often be encompassed in this role. Supporting with resources, specific pupils, projects, intervention, classroom displays and so on. If you are naturally caring, passionate and energetic individual who is able to deal with different abilities and adapt to specific requirements in a calm manner then here at the Academics Doncaster Branch we would love to hear from you. The perfect applicant would also need to have had experience working with an SEN environment and is comfortable supporting children of all ages with different levels ranging from moderate to severe learning requirements. You must hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification ideally Level 2 or Level 3, have a valid DBS (which we can help you get in process if needed) and will be subject to the relevant employment checks.
