Quantity Surveyor Salary £40,000 to £45,000Car or car AllowanceThe CompanyMy client, who are a Tier 1 contractor, are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the South East. Operating UK wide they have divisions within Construction, Rail and Infrastructure. The Quantity Surveyor will sit within their Rail division working on a multitude of projects. You will be working on a brand-new project valued at just under £8million in the Sussex area. This project will see a new link road, bridge and involve traffic management, and some section 278 works.The role Reporting into the managing Quantity Surveyor on a day to day basis the duties of the Quantity Surveyor can see them:Deal with regular amendments and work with the project teams to understand the engineering impacts of the changesDeal with early warning, cost management, change management and provide information for monthly CVR reviewsBe involved with other areas of the project including design, site management and ‘programming’Deal with the procurement of sub-contractors RequirementsMust be qualified to degree levelMinimum of 3years industry experienceExperience of NEC option 3 or equivalentBackground in Highways and/or Rail is a MUST
