Principal Civil Structural Engineer Manchester £43-£47ph Outside of IR35 Initial 6 months contract Our client is a well-established Construction/Rail company whose key focus is to improve people’s lives with smart infrastructure solutions. They are looking for an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. The role Working with only minimal supervision or guidance in the delivery of civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports and specifications. Able to communicate designs effectively to the BIM teams. Effective communication with other disciplines and construction teams. Occasional day visits to support site visits, design reviews and client meetings. Able to support and guide more junior team members. Confident and authoritative in front of clients Experienced required 10 years minimum in a broad range of sectors, particularly rail, water and highways. Tunnelling and geotechnical expertise required. Rail experience would be a strong advantage.
