Role: Demand Planner/Commercial Analyst Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (mon-fri) Reporting to: Financial Director Start: ASAP Responsibilities To harness the organisation's knowledge and resources to produce sales & financial forecasts used in Sales and Operations Planning. Continuously improve the sales forecasting processes and systems, ensuring that forecast accuracy is consistently improving. Work with other departments including Sales, Operations, New Product Development and Supply Chain to ensure the consistent, cost-effective supply of products to customers. Analyse data and provide reports to the business to assist decision making with respect to budget tracking, sales performance and planning, and NPD Collect and collate market and customer intelligence, and make it available to everybody involved in the forecasting process Gather, analyse and validate all data that will be used in preparing statistical forecasts Monitor the sales performance of new products and develop a history that can be used as a guide in future launches Identify and report on any significant variances between forecasted sales and the organization's budgets and business plans Develop and reach agreement on appropriate measures of forecast accuracy and forecast bias Please note: Cordant People are an equal opportunities employer Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89902744
