Overview
Required Skills Strong interest in both offensive and defensive cyber security Significant SOC experience Incident response/IOC resolution Understanding of offensive tactics and techniques eg. Phishing, malware, DDoS etc Firewall operations/support (eg. Check Point, Fortigate, Palo Alto) TCP/IP routing and switching experience with troubleshooting 10 years experience in IT security industry Desirable Skills Educated to graduate level in a relevant subject area Network and endpoint forensics Web Proxy, WAF, IDS/IPS technologies Data Loss Prevention Malware analysis tools Coding experience in Python/Bash/Powershell Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001 Knowledge of SIEM systems eg, Splunk, QRadar. Qualifications such as GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, CEH, SSCP, Security Eligible for UK security clearance (or already hold a level of clearance) Responsibilities Daily Operation, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Configuration, Change Management and ongoing Support of our clients "in production" products. Provide support to production implementation, migration, cut over or version upgrade services of our client's products. Identify and highlight areas where product capabilities can be used to improve our client's security posture and/or operational efficiency. Provide Best Practices advice for effective operations Provide advice to Operations Team for Supplier related issues, tasks, or technical questions. Provide reporting and analytics Update configuration and design documentation as required. React to technical issues and assist with root cause analysis and resolution; and work with Supplier Support to assist in resolution of logged technical incidents. Maintain in depth knowledge of operating environment and business priorities, in relation to product implementation. Perform overtime outside of normal hours within reason and where required.
