Overview

One of IT Bods leading clients are currently recruiting for an experienced PHP Developer to join the team (remotely) immediately and on site when possible. The City Centre team currently consists of 4 people, the successful candidate will be supporting the Lead Developer. Must have proven experience of working within a client facing role. You will need to be a self-starter and enjoy working both alone and collaboratively in a team. Must Haves: up to 3 years PHP experience Experience in a client facing role with good interpersonal skills Able to self-manage and work autonomously Minimum of 2/3 year's experience Role duties and responsibilities: Writing back end code using the Laravel PHP Framework strong working knowledge of Integrating with websites / user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS/Javascript practices. Integrate, store and display data from various back-end RESTfulAPIs and databases. Create new, and maintain existing software systems using Laravel and Vue.js Working well with other developers and designers on projects to match visual and technical specifications. When necessary liaise with clients and app users for technical support. Keep up to date with the latest Laravel releases and security patches to ensure full system operation and security. Requirements: Proven working experience in web programming using Laravel or other MVC framework. Strong knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development. Strong experience integrating with third party RESTfulAPIs. Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new skills and technology stacks.
